Gaffel am Dom Brewery Tour
Behind-the-scenes tour of one of Köln's most famous Kölsch breweries. Learn about the Reinheitsgebot, the unique top-fermented brewing process, and why Kölsch must be brewed in Köln.

Lommerzheim
15 min walk or short U-Bahn. Köln's most legendary Kneipe. Tiny, packed, and serving the best Kotelett in the city alongside perfectly poured Kölsch. Cash only, no frills, maximum charm.

Peters Brauhaus
Back in the Altstadt. Classic Brauhaus with barrel-aged Kölsch and a buzzing atmosphere. The wood-panelled interior and stained glass are gorgeous. Order a Halve Hahn (rye roll with cheese).

Malzmühle Brauhaus
5 min walk. End at one of the most authentic Brauhäuser in Köln. The Mühlen Kölsch is exceptional. Order Himmel un Ääd or the Rheinischer Sauerbraten for a proper Köln finale.

- •Pace yourself — Kölsch glasses are small (0.2L) but they add up fast when the Köbes keeps them coming.
- •A Halve Hahn at Peters is actually cheese, not ham — a classic Köln mix-up for newcomers.
